We often hear from our wellbeing volunteers about the difference volunteering makes to their own wellbeing as well as helping boost the wellbeing of others.

We have a range of volunteer opportunities to suit your needs, whether you love having a chat, providing practical support or just helping someone in your neighbourhood. Any time you have to spare us would be truly appreciated to bring a smile to someone’s face, or a spring to their step again.

Volunteer as a Wellbeing Buddy

Over the phone

Do you love a good chat? If you have some spare time and would enjoy chatting to someone who needs it, we want to hear from you!

This is a role that:

  • Is completely flexible
  • You can do from home
  • Only needs a commitment of 20 minutes a week

Face-to-face

Would you like to help someone to regain confidence, get out and about or just bring joy to their day, each week?

This is a role that:

  • Only needs a short weekly commitment
  • Is face-to-face
  • Requires you to travel

Volunteer as a Wellbeing Connector

If you are passionate about your local community and want to be part of our helping hand to connect people to the right support, this role is for you!

This is a role that:

  • Is face-to-face
  • Requires some travel to our stations
  • Can be adapted to your schedule

Volunteer as a Wellbeing Responder

Sometimes, we need a little practical support. Could you help someone to do their shopping or a household task they can’t do themselves?

This is a role that:

  • Doesn’t require a regular commitment

  • Asks you to do ad hoc tasks
